Atego RAS (All Wheel Steering)
Info The rear axle, steered by an electro-hydraulic steering system, ensures greater maneuverability, e.g. in narrow cities. Turning circle reduction from 3,3 to 4,8 m possible (depending on wheelbase and tires). Due to the same steering angle on all four wheels, a...
Trailing Axle – steered
Installation of an electro-hydraulically steered trailing axle not only results in a significantly improved maneuverability, but also in required load capacity for heavy superstructures such as a concrete pump.
Econic 6×2*4 Narrow Width
As a conversion partner of both Daimler Truck AG and a large number of different body manufacturers, development and production expertise for reducing the chassis width has been concentrated for many years at Paul Nutzfahrzeuge. The legally specified maximum chassis width has been reduced considerably in the narrow width configuration in order to enable use with bodies even under extremely cramped spatial conditions.

Spreader body 8×8
The Spreader body 8×8, for agricultural bogies. Its specialty is an environmentally friendly and exceptionally versatile field of work in the fields and on freeways.
Econic RAS
Fast and safe arrival is vital in fire extinguishing and rescue operations: Paul Nutzfahrzeuge has developed an all-wheel steering system in order to increase agility, especially in confined inner-city areas with dense traffic. The rigid rear axle has been replaced by an electro-hydraulically steered axle with differential lock and drum brakes. This makes both front and all-wheel steering possible as well as diagonal steering and manual rear axle steering.
Zetros Fire Truck with Crew Cab
Conversion of a Mercedes-Benz Zetros all-wheel drive standard chassis into a impressive special tank water tender with crew cabin that can accommodate a fire brigade up to six crew members. This vehicle was designed for multi-functional support in fire protection and technical assistance, but also on behalf of special operations in open area and forest firefighting, floods and other disasters.
Panorama glazed cab
The conversion from standard cabins to panorama glazed special cabins is in particular required for working machines in the forestry and in the communal sector. Through the panoramic glazing on the side and back, the cab becomes the driver’s seat for cranes, mowers, wood chippers and many other construction variants.
Sandwich PTO
Power shiftable PTO for stationary and mobile operation.
Spreader body 6×6
The Spreader body 6×6, for agricultural bogies (e.g. spreader). Its specialty is an environmentally friendly and exceptionally versatile field of work in the fields and on freeways.
Leading axle – steered
The installation of an air-suspended leading axle with a lifting device as well as an electrohydraulic steering system increases maneuverability in confined building site areas. The repositioning of the components and the modification of the wheelbase enables tipper, flatbed or concrete mixer superstructures.
Double-Steering Bus
Especially at highly frequented tourist locations and in historic old towns it is traffic-technically particularly close. In some places not even remains enough space for a turning area. The solution of Paul Nutzfahrzeuge and Contrac Cobus is a newly developed bus with double–steering and two cabs. The world’s first bus of this type chauffeured visitors to the French Abbey of St. Michel.
Unimog RAS
To increase maneuverability, Paul Nutzfahrzeuge has realized all-wheel steering. This makes possible both front-axle and all-wheel steering, as well as diagonal steering and manual rear-axle steering.
Zetros 8×8 TA
Conversion of a 6×6 all-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz Zetros to an 8×8 special chassis for harsh off-road use.
